My Personal Take:
Similar to the original Ultra Boost from Adidas, the Ultra Boost ST is second to none when it comes to plush cushioning. Unlike any other shoe on the market, both shoes consist of 100% boost foam in the midsole (see video below for more info on boost foam).
As Kyle explains in the video, while the Ultra Boost ST is an extremely soft shoe, it is also highly responsive. Both of these qualities make it extremely versatile in my line-up of running shoes. I would take this shoe out for a long run on the roads just as quick as I would take it to the track for speed intervals.
Complementing the soft feel of the boost foam in the midsole is the seamless Primeknit upper. It gives the shoe a very natural and adaptive fit. I experienced no problems with blisters or irritation while wearing this shoe.
Lastly, the Ultra Boost ST is considered a stability shoe. However, as opposed to utilizing a traditional stability platform, the stable feel comes from a higher concentration of boost pellets along the medial side of the shoe. This design helps reduce pronation while maintaining that consistent soft feel throughout the entirety of the shoe. While I am accustomed to running in a neutral shoe, the added stability did not bother me in the slightest. Overall, I highly recommend this shoe to any runner, walker, or lover of super comfortable and cool looking shoes.
