Chattahoochee Road Runners
|
The Chattahoochee Road Runners is a social club and offers many opportunities for individuals to get together and run and meet in various settings. Quarterly, they have club-organized social functions (quarterly membership meetings, picnics, dinner out, etc.); monthly they have a social run at the Cochran Shoals unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area; weekly they have runs at various locations. Annually the club honors several individual members of the club for outstanding service to the community, to the club, most-improved runners, mileage achievements, etc.
The CRR's currently have over 390 members, ranging in age from newborns (....but they don't do any speedwork....) to the mid-seventies. The skill levels of our athletes range from beginners, to the walking-wounded, to Olympic champions. |
