Sam, a beautiful and affectionate golden, is almost two years old and has AKC papers. Like most teenagers, Sam has a lot of energy, but he is also a smart dog who is learning his commands. He has recently learned how to "fetch" balls and return them. Since he still likes to try to go exploring, Sam will need a home with a secure fence that is at least 5' tall. Since he's still a bit unsure of his new life inside a house, it's best that Sam not be left alone for too long (over 4 hours at a time). However, once Sam becomes a part of some lucky family's life, he is sure to provide them with a lot of love and kisses.
If you'd like to find out more about Sam, check out his profile at www.adoptagoldenatlanta.com. Click "Orphans" on the left, and just scroll down to find his profile. You can also view some of Sam's pals who are also looking for good homes.
Adopt a Golden Atlanta is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to finding warm, loving, permanent homes for golden retrievers in order to prevent them from becoming strays or adding to the shelters.
